What can you do here?
1) Create a Member Profile
We have setup the profile so that a minimal amount of information is requested for privacy, and we encourage members to use whatever images they're comfortable with sharing (you do not have to use a photo of yourself in the profile). If you're an author interesting in branding, you are encouraged to use your official photo or your book cover.
2) Post to Timeline
Aggregated content and updates browsers in profiles, accounts and site homepage. You can post text (a statement or question), a link, an image. This will appear on the bottom feed on the main page and will be visible to the public and all members. You can delete items you have posted.
3) Create a Blog Post
Aggregated content and updates browsers in profiles, accounts and site homepage. Personal blogs with individual categories, rich-text posting, photos and social features. This will appear on both the Outline feed at the top of the main page, and the Timeline feed at the bottom. Any topic relating to historical fiction is welcome, even promo posts in moderation.
4) Start a Group
Create and manage groups, with admins, members, forums, social features, photos and other media. This will appear on the Outline feed on the main page, and also the Groups page with its own set of actions, comments, and chat.
5) Create a Poll
Create Poll questions and display community replies with visualized graphs. This will appear on the Outline feed on the main page, on the sidebar, and also the Polls page.
6) List a Website
Publish website profiles with descriptions and auto-generated site previews. This will appear on the Outline feed, Timeline feed, and will be permanently listed on the Sites page.
7) Post a Forum Topic
Advanced discussion forums with categories, rating, moderation, auto-splitting and rich-formatting. This will appear on the sidebar and also on the Forum page.
Let them shout! Chat-like message box where anyone can post a quick line. This is the chat box on the sidebar. Comments delete automatically after 48 hours.
